This is our friend Patricia, we met her during one of our school visits, and we were having private counselling with some of the girls. Patricia revealed to us that she has been using her aunty's newborn baby used diaper during her menstrual period. She washes it and dries up the diaper and then uses it during her period. We had to educate her on better hygiene habits and also provided her with a year long of sanitary pad. With the information and resources she has been provided with, she's able to practice safe menstrual hygiene management and also maintain her dignity and confidence.
