On Saturday, November 12, 2022, Flow Empowerment Foundation carried out its Pad A Girl Project (PAGP) outreach at the Durumi IDP Camp in Abuja. The project aimed to improve menstrual health education and provide sanitary pads to girls and women who often lack access to essential hygiene products. Following the talk, the Foundation distributed 109 sanitary pads to girls and women in the camp, ensuring that each beneficiary left with both knowledge and practical resources.
Our Event Mission
The program began with an interactive menstrual health education session, led by FEF volunteers. Topics included understanding the menstrual cycle, maintaining personal hygiene, safe disposal of pads, and addressing common myths and stigma surrounding menstruation. The session encouraged open dialogue, allowing participants to ask questions and share experiences freely..
